My directorial debut, When The Sun Goes Down, follows estranged childhood friends, Jyoti and Ishan, who meet per chance on their morning commute and begin a whirlwind romance. As they navigate their intense relationship, shadowed by the echoes of generational demons, they come to understand that love, in all its fervour, can be both transformational and fleeting, teaching them that some journeys of the heart must ultimately be walked alone. Mimicking the cyclical nature of the sun rising, peaking, setting and rising again, Jyoti and Ishan’s relationship follows suit.
