IMPACTFUL STORYTELLING FOR THE NEXT GEN, BY THE NEXT GEN
My name is Mia Frank. I am a video creator with strong shooting and editing skills based in London, with a First-Class BA in Film, Media and Photography from the University of Leeds. I began my career as a camera trainee on major productions such as After Life (Netflix) and Ted Lasso (Apple TV+), before transitioning into video production for a range of media companies such as SCREENSHOT Media and Mitre Studios. I have also worked with global brands including Disney, Vinted, Wagamama and Google. I specialise in leading the full production process of social-first video content. This includes concept development, script writing, on-set direction, self-shooting and editing. My work reaches millions of viewers across IG, TT and YouTube. My experience spans branded social campaigns, adverts, documentaries, press junkets, original series and podcasts. Currently, I’m working with the digital team at Mitre Studios, creating high-performing entertainment content for Ant & Dec’s Belta Box channel.
At heart, I am a storyteller. I have directed, produced and edited award-winning documentaries and short films. With a strong foundation in storytelling and a deep understanding of Gen Z and Millennial audiences, I bring fresh creative vision, technical precision and cultural awareness to every stage of production. My work bridges the gap between traditional cinema and social media, breaking the barriers that have been in place to keep young artists from marginalised backgrounds out of the space. I am deeply passionate about telling stories that uplift marginalised communities and promote real change. All art is political, and my work is no different.
